2014-2015 Season

Bellevue Girls finishes third in 3A state tournament

Bellevue beats Wilson, 70-61, to take third place in the 3A girls basketball state tournament. Shelby Cansler hit seven of her 10 shots on the night and added 10 points from the line to score a game high 24 points and help her team to a third place finish at the girls state tournament. Mandy Steward added 12 as the Wolverines shot 50 percent from the floor and had strong interior defense from Mackenzie Keeter and Deja Rogers to hold down the high scoring Wilson Rams.

the Wolverines claimed a title anyway, beating Mercer Island 49-37 at Bellevue College to take the conference tournament title and top seed to districts

Bellevue girls to third-place game

The Wolverines led by a pair at the half and pushed the lead to as many as six on a Kate Holmes three-pointer midway through the third quarter. But the Eagles pulled within a bucket heading into the fourth quarter and used a 12-4 run to take control of the final period and leave with the win.
